I believe design influences how we think and feel, that investing in our personal space is integral to happiness. Helping clients connect to their space is my ultimate goal.

I discovered my passion for design after decorating my first home, a yurt, which was a 600 sq.ft. round Mongolian home with no walls.  With a young baby, I had to be innovative in order to create a livable space that suited our family.

 

Through this process I fell in love with design, but recognized that I needed to learn technical skills such as design principles, colour theory and space planning. I wanted to learn from experts in the industry, so  I completed my Interior Decorating Certification.

Staging spaces for sale is a unique challenge that is very difficult for homeowners as the key objective is to de-personalize main living areas so that potential buyers can visualize themselves in the home.  After many years creating personalized spaces, I found this new concept to be a welcome challenge and an exciting means to expand my services by supporting clients to best present their homes for sale, reducing the stress that is often associated with selling.
